My Story

I began editing and managing editorial projects in 2000. I worked for B2B publishers, a book publisher and an education quango before setting up my own editorial services business in 2009.

I am an Advanced Professional Member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP).

I care about the end result of a project – I love to see a publication that respects the author's message and meets the reader's needs.

I copy-edit and project manage academic and education books, research reports, journal articles, online resources and third-sector publications.

I am particularly interested in content about welfare and social policy, economics, linguistics, effective altruism, sustainability and the climate crisis.
